I believe that a lot of the songs were about the breakup he had with Traci (it sounds like it anyway). ![]() "A Love Story" has a "classic" jazz/r&b feel to it. There are only 3 tracks that ended up on his "Grown and Sexy": "The Lonliness", "God Must Love You" (which was remixed for "Grown and Sexy" and "The Gettin' To Know U" (which was also remixed). It is a different album for him in that it had a story from the beginning, middle and end. I want to say it was shelved because Clive Davis didn't think it was a marketable project. I believe 04 was the original scheduled release. It was a huge contrast to the bland The Day album. Him do a lot of midtempo to uptempo songs which i thought were very good. I guess i liked it a lot because it was a huge surprise to see The last good album for me was Face 2 Face which i know isn't popular These songs take you back to the For the Cool in You album. What year was this album supposed to be released and why was it shelved? ![]() His last GOOD album (to me) was "A Love Story" and it was not released.
